When does cheer season begin?
Practices will start in August after July's Mandatory cheer camp. Times and dates will be at the discretion of the coaches. Most teams have 2 practices a week but may reduce to one during mid-season. Games will begin in August. We will release the schedule as soon as we get it!
What will my cheerleader need for practice?
WATER is always needed! Cheerleaders also need to wear tennis shoes with socks and comfortable clothes. This means no denim, flip flops, or crocs. Hair should be pulled out of face and jewelry isn't permitted except for small posts or hoop earrings.
Can I have some game information?
We play in the Southwest Buckeye Pee Wee League. We play schools from the following areas: Bellbrook, Carlisle, Madison, Monroe, South Dayton and Waynesville. Half of our games will be at home and the other half will be away.
Game times will fluctuate based on the school's field availability. We play on both Saturdays and Sundays.
The cost to get into the game varies by field beginning usually at $4 a person and ranging to $12 for a family. Please bring cash. Cheerleaders are admitted free.
Most schools have a concession stand. Some stadiums do not have bleachers and we will do our best to remind you of those locations.
What will my cheerleader need for each game?
Cheerleaders will always wear their skirts, shells and briefs with white socks and cheer shoes. Proper undergarments are also necessary, including sports bras with racerback. Coaches and Board members can provide more information.
Hair will be out of face with bow in place.
When the weather isn't ideal, coaches may opt to wear hoodies or rain gear. Please keep these items tucked away in the bucket so they are readily available.
Cheerleaders will ALWAYS need a water bottle and cheer bucket. There will be NO EATING during games.
Participants are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the game and stay for its entirety. Girls should attend all games or let a coach know when an emergency arises.
Cheerleaders SHOULD NOT WEAR jewelry except for small post or hoop earrings. Necklaces and bracelets will need to be removed. Also, cheerleaders are NOT PERMITTED to wear uniforms anywhere but games.
